15 Ounce Can black beans
1/4 Cup green bell pepper
1/4 Cup Sweet onion
1/2 Cup chopped cilantro
1/2 Tablespoon white wine vinegar
1/4 Teaspoon cumin
Pour the black beans into a sauce pan. Stir in 1/4 teaspoon cumin and 1/2 teaspoon white wine vinegar.
Dice the bell pepper and onion until you have 1/4 cup of each. Mince the jalapeno, which is optional. Do not add if you don’t like spicy hot foods.
Chop the cilantro until you have half a cup loose. If you can’t find cilantro, add another teaspoon of cumin for flavor.
Stir the vegetables into the beans and place pan on range set on medium heat. Cover the pan.
Once the beans begin to simmer, change the temperature to low. Let the beans simmer for 20 minutes, stirring every five minutes.
