Ham, Egg and Cheese Bagel Breakfast Sandwich Easy Recipe

Ingredients:

1 Everything bagel (or the bread of your choice)

1 Egg

2 Slices ham

2 Tablespoons butter

¼ Cup shredded cheese or a cheese slice

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Cut the bagel in half and butter it. Fold the ham in half and dice it.

Fry the egg: Preheat frying pan over 1/4 heat for one minute. Coat the bottom of the pan with butter and carefully crack the egg into the pan.

The secret to a great fried egg: Leave it alone. Don’t pick at it, which could break the yolk. Let it fry slowly. Then, when the yolk and white are cooked through, flip it. If you want it on the runny side. Let the white cook through and don’t flip it.

You can also use a scrambled egg in this recipe.

When the egg white is cooked through and the yolk is slightly cooked – takes about two minutes — carefully slip your spatula under the egg and flip it. It should be cooked all the way through in 1 ½ to 2 minutes.

When the egg white starts to cook, warm up the ham on the other half of the frying pan. Start toasting the bagel in another pan now, too. Put the bagel halves face-down in the pan.

When the egg is fried and the bagel toasted, build the breakfast sandwich. Put the egg on the bottom, the ham comes next, then top with cheese. Salt and pepper to taste and it’s ready to serve.
