RECIPE:
Plant-Based Cajun Chicken Biscuit
Ingredients:
1 Plant-based chicken patty
1 Package biscuit mix and the ingredients needed to make them
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 Tablespoons Cajun seasonings
1/4 Cup shredded lettuce
2 Tomato slices
Instructions:
Preheat oven and prepare biscuits according to directions on package. Form round biscuits on your baking pan that are the same circumference as the chicken patties. Put the chicken patty on the baking pan, too, and bake it according to the directions on the package. You may have to extend or shorten the cooking time depending on the temperature needed to cook the biscuits.
Rinse the lettuce and tomato. Shred the lettuce and slice the tomato.
In a small bowl, stir the Cajun seasonings into the mayonnaise. Taste it to see if you want more seasonings.
When the biscuit’s done, cut it in half horizontally. Place the plant-based chicken patty on it. Top it with the Cajun spice sauce and lettuce and tomato.
