How to Cook a Plant-based Sausage, Egg and Cheese Biscuit Recipe

Plant-Based Sausage, Egg & Cheese Biscuit


1/3 Cup plant-based ground sausage

1 Egg

1 Teaspoon butter

1 Package commercial biscuit mix along with ingredients required to make the mix

¼ Cup shredded cheese


Preheat your oven and prepare the biscuit mix according to the directions on the package.

Make the biscuits 6-7 inches wide on your baking pan so the sausage patties and egg will fit on them.

Scramble the egg with a ½ teaspoon of water so it fluffs up. Mold the plant-based sausage into a round patty.

Preheat your frying pan over 1/3 heat. Brown sausage patty according to directions on package.

Melt teaspoon of butter in pan and cook the scrambled egg, being careful to shape and fold it in the same round shape as the sausage and biscuit.

When the biscuits are done, slice one in half horizontally. Build the sandwich by putting the sausage on the bottom, then the egg, then the cheese and the top of the biscuit.
