How to Cook Plant-based Meatballs and Spaghetti Recipe


Spaghetti and Plant-based Meatballs


9 plant-based meatballs

1 Large can tomato sauce

2 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

½ Sweet red pepper (green bell pepper is fine, too)

¾ Cup diced sweet onion (yellow or white onion are fine)

4 Cloves garlic

2 Teaspoons dried Italian seasonings

Parmesan cheese to taste

1 Box spaghetti


Rinse the red pepper, remove the core and seeds and dice half of it. Peel and dice the onion. Crush or finely mince the garlic cloves.

Preheat a medium sauce pan over just under medium heat. Add olive oil and peppers, onions, garlic and Italian seasonings and saute them. This should take about five-seven minutes. Pour in the tomato sauce and meatball. Stir all the ingredients together.

Follow the instructions on the package of meatballs that tell you how long the meatballs need to simmer in the sauce. While the meatballs are cooking, prepare the spaghetti according to the directions on the package.
