Grilled Ham, Cheese & Tomato Sandwich
Ingredients:
2 Slices bread of your choice
2 Tablespoons butter
¼ – ½ Cup shredded cheese
¼ Cup ham slices
1 Slice tomato
2 Teaspoons mustard
Instructions:
Cut ham into half inch wide slices. Make one slice of tomato then cut into half inch wide strips. Put half the cheese on the bottom half. Add the tomato slices and ham. Spread the second half of the cheese on top of the ham and tomato. Add mustard. Top with second piece of bread and press it down.
Read the directions to your propane stove, light it and turn it to low heat. Preheat the pan for a minute. Coat bottom of pan with 1 tablespoon of butter. Carefully place the sandwich in the pan and slide it around to coat with butter. Cover the pan and let it grill for a minute or two. Uncover the pan, set the sandwich aside. Coat the bottom of the pan with butter. Carefully flip the sandwich back into the pan and shift it around to coat the bread. Cover and grill for another minute or two. Grill each side one more minute each. Press it down to make sure the cheese is worked into the other ingredients and the sandwich holds together.
