Red Hot Chili Burger Easy Recipe


½ Pound ground beef

¼ Cup minced onion

1 Red hot chili pepper

¼ Cup shredded cheese or 1 cheese slice

1 Tablespoon butter

2 Hamburger buns

Salt and pepper to taste


Mince the onion. Rinse off the pepper, remove the core and seeds, and mince it. Use a glove or knife and fork to avoid the pepper’s heat. Form two hamburgers and mix onion and pepper into them.

Preheat frying pan over medium heat. Coat the bottom of the pan with butter. Cook until juice runs to the top – should take about five minutes depending on burger thickness and stove efficiency. Flip them. Cook until the juice runs to the top again – about another five minutes. Flip and cook another five minutes until the burger is cooked through. Tip: Do not press down on the burger with your spatula, that forces all the juice out of it.

You can toast the bun in the hamburger grease.

Add salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with cheese. Other option are to add a slice of avocado or a splash of salsa.
